Communicatee’s prevention services primarily target children, adolescents, and college-aged populations (including the University of Mississippi – located in Communicare’s service area). Currently, Communicare is involved a number of projects, including a mental health education program designed to destigmatize mental illness, a merchant education training program focusing on reducing tobacco sales to minors, and a prevention partnership with the goal of bringing empirically supported prevention programs to Communicare’s service area.
